FOR THE CLIMATE
CO₂ reductions since 2021
HVO as an alternative fuel

Charging points at our locations
Total photovoltaic capacity
Since 2021, the Geis Group has reduced its CO2 emissions by 25 percent – an important step toward achieving climate neutrality in Scopes 1 and 2, a goal we aim to reach by 2040. We are already using 8.1 million liters of HVO as an alternative fuel in our own vehicles alone. At the same time, our electric fleet is growing steadily: 100 electric vehicles are currently on the road, including more than 20 trucks as well as numerous passenger cars and Sprinters. The necessary infrastructure is growing alongside it – 105 charging points are now available at our locations, powered in part by six large photovoltaic systems with a total capacity of 5.05 MWp. In addition, we’re implementing numerous energy efficiency projects in our buildings, for example in the areas of lighting and conveyor technology.
