Trailers for Geis are hitting the rails

This train transports sustainability by rail. Geis had ordered a total of 30 trailers from Krone in Werlte, Lower Saxony – and had planned their delivery from the very beginning.
The trailers finally arrived at Geis Eurocargo in Nuremberg on time, reliably, and in an environmentally friendly manner. Transport by rail saved approximately twelve metric tons of CO2 compared to transport by road.
“For us, sustainable logistics doesn’t just begin when the vehicles are put into service later on, but right from the moment of delivery,” says Christian Hackl, Head of Central Fleet Management.
